Ced's bench

We want to install a bench in Ced's honour, ideally in Pearl Beach somewhere, or the walk up to the Patonga lookout, for walkers to rest and enjoy their surroundings. Dad loved doing the walk up to the lookout.
Ideally it will be made out of beautiful Australian hard wood. We're not sure exactly how much it will cost at this early stage. Any leftover funds will be put towards a custom 'beach street library' - to share beach toys, frisbees etc (he also loved the beach), and/or a Kiva micro finance loan (www.kiva.org/).
Beach street library is an adaptation of the street libraries concept, run by local non-profit Street Library Australia - www.streetlibrary.org.au .
We'll keep everyone updated on progress.
