Currently, I'm in my second year of college at Pacific Union College majoring in Liberal Studies with the hope of earning my elementary teaching credentials.  

Over the last few months, I deeply considered studying abroad in Spain for a year. However, I've felt a strong calling to spend my time in a different way.  As you know, I love spending time with children.  I have built extensive experience with them by babysitting, volunteering as the Vacation Bible School co-director at my home church, and privately tutoring both elementary and high school students in all subjects.  Next academic school year, rather than spending my time studying in a foreign country, I hope to further my work experience with children by serving as a student missionary teacher at either Palau Mission Academy in Airai, Palau or Mana SDA Island School on Mana Island, Fiji.  I firmly believe that God has opened this opportunity to serve His people while simultaneously doing what I love.  I am writing to request that you keep me in your prayers as I embark on this life changing journey and to seek your financial support of my decision in ministering to God’s people outside of the comfort of this country.
