CECAS: the community-powered heart of climate action

Help keep the heart of community-powered climate action beating in West Cork!
Thank you for considering a donation to CECAS.
In the face of the climate and biodiversity crises, local, community-led solutions are more important than ever. CECAS provides a space where the local community can come to learn, grow and develop resilience and solutions to help us all adapt to the challenges ahead.
Since opening our doors in 2021, we've worked hard to keep CECAS self-sustaining through venue hire, events, and workshops. We've always aimed to make our space welcoming, inclusive, and affordable for all, while offering opportunities for education and connection.
Behind the scenes, CECAS is run by a small, passionate team, of mostly volunteers and four part-time staff, who give their time, skills, and energy to make this work possible. But we’ve reached a critical moment. After our most difficult winter yet, rising costs mean we can no longer continue without your help.
We need your support now to keep CECAS running.
If you've ever taken part in a workshop, wandered through the now well-cared-for Myross Woods, shared a meal, or found connection at CECAS, please consider giving back today.
Even a small donation can make a real difference to our visitors, staff and volunteers:
- €10 helps us buy materials for inspiring workshops.
- €25 helps cover catering for our woodland and garden volunteers.
- €50 helps to replace essentials like kitchen equipment, garden and outdoor tools.
- €100 helps us carry out urgent repairs and maintenance on the building.
- €1000 helps us to pay the monthly licence fee on the estate.
Whether you're a regular visitor or someone who simply believes in community and climate action, this is your chance to be part of something that matters.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help keep the heart of community-powered climate action beating in West Cork. If you believe in what we’re building and want to be part of the future, now is the time to act. So please, support us if you can. Every euro counts.
Thank you for being part of the CECAS story.
