Danao, Cebu, my hometown, has been ravaged by the recent storm, Typhoon Kalmaegi, also known as Typhoon Tino. The typhoon brought torrential rains and powerful winds that caused widespread flooding, submerging entire towns and sweeping away cars and homes. In Danao City alone, eight people lost their lives, and many more were affected by the disaster.

The aftermath is devastating - thousands have been displaced, and homes have been destroyed or severely damaged. The streets are filled with debris, and the community is struggling to cope with the loss. Rescue teams are working tirelessly to reach stranded residents and provide aid to those in need.
