Support Dan's Family After Devastating Fire

My name is Amber, I have the absolute pleasure of coaching Alexa and Leah Whynott in cheer and have for the last few years. I have gotten to know them and their family including Dan, Page and little brother Brett, who are all hard working, compassionate and caring people we are so lucky to have in our program and lives.

On the morning of Friday 1/24 Dan lost his house to a fire, unfortunately the house was a total loss and their pets did not make it. All of their belongings were lost in the fire. Although not asking for help, we hope to raise money to help with repurchasing some of the needed items that were lost and lift this family with love and support. This family jumps at the opportunity to help others when given the opportunity and I hope as a community we can return that kindness.

We are trying to raise money to help Dan and their family as they navigate this difficult time, we continue to be contacted with an outpouring of support to send to the family and wanted to have a place to direct those who wish to help. Donations can also be dropped off or mailed to Island Cheer in the form of gift cards, clothing, toiletries, or items to replace recent Christmas gifts the kids have now lost, Brett (7) Alexa (11) and Leah (15)
