In Jamaica, my home was more than just a building. It was where my family shared meals, laughed together, and created the memories that shaped who I am today. It wasn’t a big house or a fancy one, but it was ours, and it was filled with love.
One day, everything changed. Our family home caught on fire and burned down. In a matter of moments, the place that held our childhood memories, belongings, and sense of security was gone. Watching the house burn was heartbreaking. Everything we had worked for, everything we grew up around, disappeared in the flames.
For my family, this home meant stability and comfort. Losing it has been incredibly difficult. Starting over after something like this is not easy, especially when so much was lost.
Today, we are trying to rebuild and create a safe place for our family again. Any support, whether through donations or sharing this fundraiser, would mean the world to us. Every contribution brings us one step closer to rebuilding what was lost and giving my family hope for a fresh start.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any kindness you can offer during this difficult time.
