CDRI's 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Donation Drive
Donation protected
As part of CDRI's mission to ensure debt-distressed consumers have access to safe and transparent solutions to achieve financial stability, we are also committed to supporting organizations that aim to ease the financial burdens of such individuals. With the cost of consumer goods rising, it's important individuals have access to healthy and nutritious food in their lives. That's why for our annual Thanksgiving donation drive, we've selected to support the Candice Williams Helping Hands Fund.
Candice Williams was 19 years old when she died in a car accident while driving to a dentist appointment in July 2003. Twenty years later, the teen's memory lives on through her parents, Theresa and Ben Williams, and many other friends and family members who serve their community — and an annual Thanksgiving dinner — to carry on her legacy of helping others.
On Thanksgiving Day, volunteers will fill the Friendly House from 2-6 p.m. in Mansfield and join community members for a turkey dinner and, more importantly, companionship. Your generous donations will ensure volunteers have what they need to prepare food and serve hundreds of people, including through delivery to the elderly and shut-ins.
Every dollar counts to feeding more individuals in need. We appreciate your consideration in adding this fundraiser to your holiday charitable giving efforts!
