Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, who recently experienced a life-altering loss. A fire tore through his apartment, destroying nearly all of his personal belongings — clothing, furniture, work equipment, and sentimental items he’ll never be able to replace. While thankfully no one was hurt, the damage has left him without a home and starting from scratch.

Right now, he’s staying with our parents and working two jobs just to keep things afloat. Despite everything, he’s doing what he can to stay on his feet — showing up to work every day, staying positive, and trying not to let the weight of it all pull him down. But rebuilding your life from nothing is not easy — and it’s not something anyone should have to do alone.

That’s why I’m putting this out there. Any contribution — no matter how small — would help him take the next step forward: getting basic essentials, replacing clothes and shoes, covering transportation, caring for his two cats and eventually getting back into a place of his own.
