Hello friends, family and community members. I have started this page for one of my life long friends who is in a very tough situation. Robin Fitch has been part of the Charlottesville community her entire life and is a Murray High School graduate like myself. During our friendship Robin has always been the person to give you her lunch money or the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. NOW SHE NEEDS OUR HELP! Robin has been in and out of the hospital recently for extremely high blood pressure, that has cause swelling on her brain. She has had to have spinal taps to remove the fluid. In addition she was also diagnosed with severe blood clots a few months ago and in turn she was not able to work and lost her job.
Robin is a single mom to 3 beautiful children and the only provider for their household. Due to her health issue she is now in a financial bind and has been struggling to keep up with the household bills. Her and her children will have to move out of their current residence by September 30th and at this point cannot find anywhere to live. We are seeking all the assistance we can get for her from the State of Virginia but these things take time and she is running out of it.
I understand that we all have our struggles, issues, and daily stress to deal with but I would not be asking if we had any other options at this point. Please find it in your heart to help such a beautiful person and her children. Any little bit helps and I cannot being to tell you what it will mean to Robin, she is beyond stressed out (which isn't good for her health) and living everyday in fear. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Thank you,
Julia Schmertzler
