CCVSAR Donation In Memory of Rob Colburn
Tax deductible
In honor of Rob Colburn, I am fundraising $1000 for the Chelan County Volunteer Search and Rescue.
Last year some friends and family came together to fundraise money in honor of Rob, and I feel inclined to give back again this year. This past summer there was a record number of Search and Rescue operations in the state of Washington. CCVSAR is a team of volunteer first responders that rescue the lost and injured in the beautiful mountains of Chelan County, WA. They also promote back-country safety and emergency preparedness for disasters. CCVSAR is a 100% volunteer and 100% supported through donation.
It is such a privilege to be able to explore the outdoors in the PNW and have access to resources like SAR available. I am forever grateful for the CCVSAR and the Chelan County Sheriff who kept us calm, and more importantly helped give us the closure that some families never get. The day was a blur, but we had over 20 volunteers show up.
You can learn more about CCVSR here.
Quinn and I are so incredibly grateful for our local community that came together to help us out along with our friends and family scattered across the country. I know we will pay it forward.
I understand donating may not be an option for some with the challenges 2020 has brought. Instead, I ask that maybe you send a prayer or some positive vibes to the Colburn family these next few days as it has been a year of many firsts. Thank you for your never ending support.
