This have taken me 14 years, and it is difficult to ask for support...

The father of my daughter lives in the Amazon jungle in Ecuador. He lived in Sweden when we met but lost his residence permit when my daughter was a baby. I moved to Ecuador with him to try to save our little family and for my daughter to know her family there, and the Shuar culture. Long story short, love did not last and we returned to Norway.

The following years I faced some health issues that made me unable to hold a "normal" job and as a solo parent I had my hands full with motherhood and life in general.

I have poured my heart and soul into my own healing, into being a good mother, and also to create meaningful experiences, example a spiritual women`s festival and several workshops for the community here in Norway.

This have been a "life changing experience" for many, and it has made me rich in Soul & Heart - but not money (yet).

Every year I have been thinking that we shall travel back to Ecuador so my daughter can know her father and her Shuar culture. We were on our way there in 2019, but was stopped by Covid and needed to return to Norway..

It feels like she is living a "half life" only knowing her Norwegian Ancestry, not her jungle roots.

As her father faced some health issues and her grandmother is growing old, I feel now the urgency to realise this dream and to reunite my daughter with her family in the jungle!

She is now 15 years old and she has not met her father since she was 1 years old, when we travelled back after living in Ecuador... I know this is a deep sorrow in both my daughter and her father.

The money I get here will go to cover the tickets to travel to Ecuador, and also to buy school books, pencils and other supplies needed for the school there in the jungle. Maybe the community is in need of something else, like a fresh water vell or medicine? The money will go to support the family in the best way possible.

I feel the urgency to return my daughter to her Amazon roots and to bring what I can to support the community there.

As a solo parent where both me and my daughter has faced some health issues the last few years, all my money has gone to help us both heal. And I have managed.

Now, when health is stabilized I feel the urgency to reunite her with her family in Ecuador as I know in my bones this will help her grow into a radiant young woman with not only her physical health but also her heart and soul in balance.

It is so important to know our roots and our family. This is "the missing piece" for her.

I have just not managed to earn enough money to travel and reunite her with her family yet, so I now ask for your help with a humble heart.

And also my intent is to help the school and the community there in the jungle.
