Hearts For Ivy

**UPDATE**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of little Ivy, over the weekend.

We would like to take this opportunity and thank everyone who supported Ivy’s family to help make precious memories before her passing, after Ivy was diagnosed with Brain Cancer last year. 

Ivy’s father is one of our Leaders and her sister, one of our Cubs, they now have the enormous expense of funeral costs during this deeply distressing time.

It is with profound sadness for us to share some devastating news - One of Joey Scouts has recently been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

Ivy is just 6 years old.

Her Father Chris (Dugong) is one of our devoted Joey Leaders and big sister Ellsie is one of our Cub Scouts.

This family is Parkwood Scouts through and through.

At our recent Committee meeting it was unanimously decided that we would like to donate the proceeds of our upcoming Trivia Night to Ivy and her family so they can spend as many precious moments as possible together with what little time they have left.

We invite all of you to the Event 'Hearts For Ivy' Trivia Night being held on 9th October at Parkwood Den, to show your support and help raise as much as possible.
