We are Team Tyner - Jeff, Renee, Noble and Elkan.
After separately traveling the world as missionaries, we both ended up in small-town Georgia right near the mountains working on staff for the missions organization we both served with. We butted heads, eventually changed our minds about each other, and then decided we couldn’t live without the other. We were married in September 2015 and welcomed our Son, Noble Wilder, to the party in July of 2017 and our Son, Elkan Atwell in March of 2019.
The Why
We believe fiercely in adoption. It has always been part of our plan for our family. For us, adoption is an earthly reflection of what we believe most deeply: that God has adopted us into His family through Jesus. Our lives have been changed by that, and our only response to his love is to love others in the same way. And so we adopt. We have room in our hearts, our home and our family for more, and want to give that space to a child that needs it.
Here is how you can help
There’s no getting around it: adoption is expensive. The cost of domestic infant adoption averages more than $40,000 and includes legal and professional fees, financial and social help for the birth mother, paying for the home study and paperwork, and more. We know, that’s a lot of money.
When we focus on the number it can feel overwhelming and impossible. And on our own, it is. But we are confident in this: that the Lord has called us to adopt, that He will make a way, and that we are part of an amazing tribe and community of people who have walked with us in life, and who will continue to do so. Asking for help isn’t always easy, but we believe in the fruit of authenticity, vulnerability and transparency, and that’s how we want to live our lives.
So, we'd love for you to do two things:
1. Ask the Lord what He would have you give. Every dollar matters!
2. Share our Go Fund Me page on social media! The best way you can champion our story is to share it with someone else.
