CCBC Toy Drive 2020
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Tara Stuart and I am the Director of the Behavioral Health Community Partners (BHCP) program at Community Counseling of Bristol County (CCBC) located in Taunton. As many of you know CCBC works with individuals, children and families who reside in Plymouth and Bristol County and are considered “at risk” and in need of comprehensive services. Our members and children often present with a history of trauma, along with serious and persistent medical and mental illnesses, as well as, a variety of socioeconomic barriers, including poverty and homelessness. CCBC staff support members by establishing our families with the necessary services and resources in their community, which has been especially critical amidst the current national health crisis. The ultimate goal of the CCBC is to improve access and enhance the quality of life and care our families receive while simultaneously increasing their sustainability within the community.
Currently CCBC services over 3,000 individuals and/or families with increased needs and widespread financial hardships. Like many of us the pandemic has heavily impacted our members and their children. In addition, the pandemic has largely and negatively impacted the agencies routine fundraising efforts to support our annual Toy Drive. The company is making every effort to overcome these unforeseen barriers in order to provide the families we service with toys and joy on Christmas morning. Your donation will help to make this possible and help us reach our agencies 2020 Toy Drive goals!
We promise every little bit helps, and we encourage you to leave your name and address so we can send anyone who donates a sincere thank you. No donation is too small and will be utilized to service children, ages 0-17, in the Bristol and Plymouth County areas. If you would like to donate toys directly, you can drop off or mail unwrapped new toys to our Taunton office located at 1 Washington St. Taunton, Massachusetts 02780.
We are ever so grateful and appreciate all of your support and generosity. Should you have any questions or require further information, please contact me. I am happy to answer any questions. Again, thank you in advance for your support and consideration to this request.
Gratefully,
Tara I. Stuart, LMHC.

“Thanks to CCBC, I was able to provide my 4yo daughter with a proper Christmas morning and we actually had one day where we forgot we are homeless and living in a shelter.”
