Donation protected
The students (past and present) of Catonsville High are banding together to organize a protest in support of the Black Lives Matter movement which is taking place at Catonsville High School's upper parking lot on June 22 at 5 pm. In preparation, any donations are appreciated to coordinate and purchase supplies for this effort. All residual funds will be donated to Black Lives Matter organizations and bail funds to support protesters. Thank you for your support!! Please contact if you have any other questions
Catonsville High School won't allow a direct donation from the Class of 2020 to the Black Lives Matter movement since it would be associated with the school. However, class funds will be refunded to the students and parents who paid!
I suggest the Class of 2020 donate their reimbursements to this GoFundMe, a place for the Class of 2020 to recollect the funds just without the school name attached to it. These funds will be donated and split between 70+ community bail funds, mutual aid funds, and racial justice organizers. secure.actblue.com/donate/bail_funds_george_floyd
The returns will be gradually sent out to families. You can donate $80 (total dues owed from all four years) now since you will get it back! Even if you aren't Class of 2020, this fundraiser can be a place for the Catonsville community to raise money in support of Black Lives Matter!
