We, PMC Construction, are a local business, North Stand Sponsor, and committed fans of Portsmouth Football Club. We, along with fan representatives, club partners, and club sponsors have collectively met with aim to support those match day workers that have unfortunately suffered losses.

It has been recently documented in a statement released by Portsmouth Football Club, that their catering provider have engaged insolvency practitioners after being unable to meet their obligations to creditors, including the catering team. This situation has left in excess of 300 individuals working amongst the catering side of Fratton Park incurring financial losses, and sadly not receiving their wages due from mid-December to the end of January.

Portsmouth Football Club is the heart of our city, employing many local people who contribute to the games we all love to watch, the catering team play a large part in the atmosphere we all feel at Fratton Park.

We have been advised that Portsmouth Football Club have offered all the catering staff affected, new employment with the club and have secured their jobs.

However, we are still mindful of the balances the staff are owed and felt it was appropriate to set up this page to try and help all those who are sadly affected by this unfortunate situation We have reached out to the insolvency practitioners to understand the scale of the wages still owed by the catering partner to their staff to the end of January, which appear to be in excess of £100,000.00. All funds collected via this page will be distributed proportionately amongst the staff who have sadly not received their wages. Further details to follow.
