Hi, I'm Cat and need your help to heal from LATE STAGE NEUROLOGICAL LYME DISEASE, so I can get my life back! I went from doctor to doctor trying to find out why my health was failing. But doctors told me my symptoms were, "all in my head, fibromyalgia or Lyme doesn't exist in your town." A friend said the numbness/tingling I felt in my hands could be a sign of Lyme disease. So I went to a LYME LITERATE doctor who FINALLY correctly diagnosed me with Lyme and coinfection diseases, Bartonella and Babesia.
Unfortunately, by the time I was diagnosed, Lyme disease had already progressed into LATE STAGE NEUROLOGICAL LYME DISEASE, which had disseminated into every part of my body, including central nervous system. I am experiencing arthritis, muscle weakness, on/off blurry vision , chronic fatigue, some bedridden days, chronic pain and neurological symptoms like brain fog, memory loss and peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage). The Babesia & Bartonella have also become chronic. I look OK on the outside, but I feel like a broken down, 80 year old lady on the inside - because everything hurts.
Before I became really sick, I loved Movies, Rock Concerts, Travel, the Gym and Championing Children and Animals :) I used to work as a Script Writer & Video Editor in TV which was Awesome. My Dream is to become a SCREENWRITER! I need more aggressive treatment to STOP the debilitating progression and go into remission, so I can get back to WORK again!
8/19/2019 UPDATE: I am no longer saving for Hyperthermia treatment in Germany, because it costs $25,000 and a few people told me it did not work for them. I am currently trying other treatments. Thank you! Cat
If you suspect someone has LYME DISEASE, they have to find a LYME LITERATE DOCTOR (LLMD) because infectious disease and other doctors are NOT trained in Medical School on how to DIAGNOSE and TREAT Lyme, no matter what they tell you. The CDC finally removed their Lyme diagnosis blood test criteria and have replaced it with a CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS based on symptoms, because it can take YEARS for a person to develop antibodies to have a positive blood test, as well as tests yielding false negatives. How Lyme Disease Cases Have Spread In The U.S.
The number of confirmed and probable Lyme disease cases in the U.S. more than doubled from 2001 to 2015. In 2015, 95 percent of confirmed cases were reported in the 14 states labeled below.

DID YOU KNOW: I (myself, Cat) was tested in December, 2015, but because the CDC had NOT UPDATED their DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA back then, my lyme test was technically 'negative' when I was actually positive! I had 2 reactive lyme bands on the western blot that you can only get if you have lyme disease, but at the time the CDC required 5 reactive bands. But some people take years to develop 5 bands because lyme disease is very IMMUNOSUPPRESIVE, especially when one has coinfection diseases on top of having lyme disease (which is more often the case).
In October of 2016, the CDC finally updated their diagnostic criteria on their website, to not require all 5 bands, but a clinical diagnosis as valid, with blood tests as being supportive. Not to mention that there are 2 lyme bands MISSING from the western blot, because at one point they were trying to make a lyme vaccine, but forgot to put those 2 bands back when the lyme vaccine never happened. So people pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket to test for those 2 missing bands thru a lab called Igenex. Also there are 300 strains of lyme in the world, the blood test only tests for few.
So literally THOUSANDS of people like me, have been MISDIAGNOSED and became late stage and chronic, for no good reason!!! This is why that movie "Under Our Skin " was made, because it talks about the political corruption and conflict of interest of the people who determined the CDC diagnosing criteria.
So who do I and countless others hold responsible??? Almost every doctor was just following what the CDC told them as to how to interpret the lyme western blot test (the elisa screen is also highly inaccurate)!
