Cat Needs Lifesaving Airway Surgery

Cat is a little bully mix that was rescued from an overcrowded shelter several weeks ago by Philly Bully Team. The moment we picked her up, it was clear that this poor girl was struggling to breath, even when she was at rest and and in air conditioning.

We brought her to PennVet for an assessment. The team there agreed that Cat needed surgery as soon as possible. Unfortunately, she was too sick for surgery as it was quickly discovered that Cat had pneumonia and needed to be place in an oxygen tank for several days. Cat is now on the mend and her surgery is scheduled for October 9th. We need to raise $9,000 before then so we can afford this surgery that will not only make her daily functioning more comfortable, it would save her life and reduce her risk of aspiration pneumonia again.
