Jared Scott of San Jose has been a kitten and cat rescuer for the last 5 years. He works day and night feeding a colony, trapping kittens and cats throughout San Jose. He is known on his Nextdoor app as the "go to cat whisperer" when a cat needs to be rescued, trapped or fed. In the last 2 weeks, he's trapped and rescued over 30 kittens alone. Jared pays for gas and purchases cat food with his own money without the help of donations. He's truly a wonderful and selfless human being. Not only does he rescue but he find homes and fosters through different rescue groups. 

Jared is needing surgery on his feet in May/June time frame and he be needing money to pay for his portion that is not covered by insurance. Unfortunately, Jared was laid off as a Personal Assistant when his boss suddenly passed away. 
The money he had made helped him to get through COVID while taking care of helpless animals. The money will help Jared get through his surgery and pay someone to feed his colony and continue to rescue while he recovers.
