Hi my name is Brian Derrig, myself and my family are decorating our house this Christmas to help raise funds for Castlebar Autism Parents (CAP). Castlebar Autism Parents was originally set up to support parents of autistic individuals and it has become a lifeline for families who often feel isolated, overwhelmed and unseen. Many parents of autistic people silently carry the weight of worry, exhaustion and the ache of watching family members struggle in a world that doesn't always understand them. By donating, you're not just giving money you're helping create safe spaces, and support events that make a real difference to any parent who may feel overwhelmed or isolated. Every donation, big or small strengthens this network of care. They get together once a month for a chat in an informal non-judgemental setting. Castlebar Autism Parents have previously used funds raised to provide yoga sessions for parents, going forward using your generous donations they hope to provide counselling sessions for parents. They also hold an annual 'Mental Health and Wellness Event'. Please donate what you can to this extremely worthy cause.
