I’m taking part in the Castle to Castle Swim in Falmouth this year, swimming one mile across open water from Pendennis castle to St Mawes. While I enjoy sea swimming, I still find deep water quite intimidating, and this will be my first time taking on a challenge like this - scary!
I’m using the swim to raise money for the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea across the UK and Ireland through lifeboat crews and lifeguard services. Their work is vital and relies heavily on public donations.
Taking on this challenge felt like a fitting way to support an organisation that helps people in real danger at sea. Any donation, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated and will go towards their life-saving work.
Thank you for your support.
