Cassandra Centre is a domestic violence charity based in South West London. It is a black lead organisation and they desperately need your help.
Last May, we lost our home. One of our funders kindly offered office space to us for up to 9 years, what it helped us to thrive and work closely with the community. This space was closed and since then, Cassandra's Centre staff have been working out of Costa Coffee -as rents are too high for the charity to afford it.
This puts in risk not only our services, but also the people reaching for help. We need a space where our clients can feel safe and speak freely.
We were hoping we would get support from the council or that we would be able to rent. Unfortunately, the rental market is well above what we can afford and our services are trembling.
We need your help. Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and help continue our work.
Your donation will be used to fund:
- Offices
- Therapeutic Spaces
