Cass County Citizens Coalition was created by concerned citizens who were not being heard by their local government.
In a year, CCCC has accomplished a lot!
By petitioning the Indiana Department of Environmental Management we were able to get stricter pollution controls on a hazardous waste recycling plant.
We purchased an Ambient Air Monitoring Station and gifted it to the City of Logansport, to hold our industry accountable.
We've collected baseline soil samples, and will continue to monitor and gather information, as needed.
On the legal front, CCCC has appealed the EPA’s decision to grant WSP their Title V Air Permit. We’re continuing our lawsuit, claiming that our county officials violated the Open Door Law.
