The Isle of Wight Parachute Regimental Association are taking part in a tough challenge to raise funds towards The Colchester Airborne Soldier Statue (CASS) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Airborne Forces in Colchester Garrison by erecting a dedicated memorial. To support this cause the ‘CASS 2025 Global 25 Miler’ has been set up, with the challenge for participants worldwide to complete a 25-mile route carrying a minimum of 25 pounds in a backpack.

The memorial statue is costing around £160,000. In September, CASS reported they had nearly £100,00 towards the project, and needed our help to raise the remaining £60,000.
