Casandra Dollinger's (Widger) Family

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brian Whitford and myself along with Carrie Bixby(mother) and Tom Widger(father) are doing this gofundme to raise money for Casandra Dollinger's(Widger) beautiful little girls Bailey Rose(5) and Layla Grace(4) along with her husband Jacob Dollinger in their time of need with the tragic passing of Casandra.
As many people know Casandra has been fighting health issues for a few years now and this past saturday morning 1/20/2024 surrounded by family and loved ones passed away. Writing this through tears and a broken heart is so very hard to do.
I am Casandra's stepfather. This little girl entered my life when she was 8 and turned it upside down. There are so many thoughts and memories going through my head that haven't stopped. The one that means the most to me is when she said she loved me like a second father. It means I must of done something right no matter how much I thought I didn't. Even when things changed and our families changed she was always on the phone, get togethers, etc would constantly say Love You. The one thing she constantly kept saying was when I'm better we need to get together more, Life is Too Short. Well that's the truth. Tell People you love them and how much they mean. Hug them a little longer, don't let them be in a rush or hang up so quickly. She's gone and we will never get any of that back and it hurts so much it's unbearable.
She was and is loved by so many people. She touched so many people's lives and was a one of a kind. Her smile brightened up every room she entered, Her eyes sparkled, the fight she gave and put up are immeasurable. She brought so much love, life and laughter to people everywhere she went. Most of all she loved all her family so much, especially her beautiful little girls and husband.
All she wanted was to get better to feel normal, be there for her girls but her body wouldn't let her. She fought so hard, she's literally the strongest, hardest fighter I have ever known.
She didn't care who was mad at who or who didn't want to be around who, who was fighting etc. If she loved you she let you know and you knew it with everything she had. It was all or nothing, it was unconditional. She was the key to keep all the families together through everything all the ups and downs, good and bad. Her family is huge and she is loved by them all and she loved them. Cousins, Parents, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Sisters, Brothers and Family. She didn't care she loved us imperfections and all. She let us know we were here people.
We know she would want us to all come together and that's what we are doing nothing matters, except carrying on her memories and never letting the girls forget or question their mothers undying love for them.
We are all in so much hurt and our hearts are broken but this cause is important to all of us.
The outpouring of support and love has been overwhelming and if just a little, eases the pain and heart ache of her not being here. Our hearts break thinking of the girls not having their mother. We would like to help out her family anyway we can. Help Jacob with expenses and to be there for the girls. To help them to be able to grieve and try to process all this and not worry about bills. To ideally help get them their own home to build upon the love and memory of Casandra.
Anything helps and everything is so greatly appreciated.
Heaven got an Angel yesterday
We will always Love You Casandra Marie Dollinger
