Hello! My cousin, Alex, gave birth to her first child Carter Lane Harris on January 6th. While mom is doing great, Carter is taking on a few unexpected health challenges that have kept him from coming home. Carter is currently in the NICU at Northwest Hospital in Bentonville, AR. He is on oxygen to help him breathe, has a blood clot near his liver and was diagnosed with Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome). Despite these challenges, Carter continues to fight on! He is a tough little guy, and his courage has inspired me to share his story with you!

Carter needs his parents to focus on love and care for him, and not be distracted with the medical costs that are crucial to helping him get better!
