Last week my great friends Tristian (a.k.a Tricky) and Kat lost their new born son Carter who was born on the 23rd November at 27 weeks after fighting for his precious life from his first moments. Carter was also my God Son.
This is one of the most devastating things any parent can ever imagine and I am calling out to all my friends and family to try help make their families Christmas a little bit easier this year by helping to cover the funeral cost and other expenses.
I have known Tricky for 20 years and still remember the day he came tearing into my house as an unknown guest. For the past 20 years; apart from the good times, the laughs, the up n downs; I have seen this man grow into a great husband, father and human being to others - The quintessential Aussie larrikin . Together with his wife Kat who is the most loving mum I have seen; these two are the greatest of people and loyal friends you will ever meet.
As hard working family with two kids; these guys need all the support they can get as we head into the Christmas season. I ask anyone who can spare a few bucks to help out and chip in. Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated and if we can cover the cost of the funeral and perhaps even something left over to help other expense during this time to lighten the burden and give them one less thing to stress about during the festive season; it will mean so much to them and everyone involved.
