29.10.2023 my life changed forever, I lost my best friend, my beautiful mum very suddenly and that was the start of the most painful journey I have ever been on.

I’ve lost so much and more since that day and every day since had been an absolute nightmare.

My mum Sue and Callum’s Nan was the glue of the family and her loss is felt each and every day by us all. Treetops Hospice Bereavement councelling has been instrumental in mine and my families life over these past couple of years, grief never goes away it’s linear, what Treetops councillors did was give us a buddy, and those buddy’s are what can make the difference in your life. I can’t thank them enough, words do not do it justice.

My mum believed in everything I have ever done and I know she will be rooting for us on this one too.

I have a love hate relationship with running I’m not really built for it, short legs.

But it’s on my bucket list and if it goes well half marathon next!!!

14.09.2025 happy birthday mum miss you every day. Trainings going so well we’ve moved the 10k race up to next month Oct 2025 and I’ve signed up to do the half marathon in Dec 2025… little nervous I won’t lie but it’s all for you so I will make sure I smash it ❤️.
