Since January, 2024, my incredible sister, Annmarie, has been relentlessly fighting breast cancer. From the very beginning, she’s faced every challenge with unshakable courage, grit, and determination. Even when the cancer spread to her brain and became terminal, Annmarie’s spirit never wavered. She’s continued to give her all to being there for her two daughters, Thea (11) and Khalilah (7) — showing them what true strength looks like in the face of hardship.

Right now, our focus is on supporting Annmarie in every way possible as she continues her fight, while also doing everything we can to prepare for what comes next. When the time comes, her daughters will come to live with me in the United States, where we’ll continue to honor her legacy by giving them the stability and future she’s fought so hard to secure.

We’re raising funds to help cover the significant costs of relocation, legal fees for adoption and immigration, and other transition expenses — all to make this next chapter as smooth and secure as possible for the girls.

It’s difficult for us to ask for help, but this is one of those moments when community means everything. Every donation, no matter the size, helps carry Annmarie’s spirit forward — giving her daughters the future she’s worked tirelessly to protect.
