Techo is a non profit organization that mobilizes youth volunteers to fight extreme poverty in Latin America by building transitional housing for thousands of families. The Techo student club is working with the local community to bring awareness and promote action. It will unite student volunteers from schools across Miami to transform slums into thriving communities, specifically in Cartagena de las Indias. Our goal is to raise enough money to build at least 5 homes and give Miami students the opportunity to go on the trip this school year. To build a house costs $2000, but its impact on the family is priceless. The homes transpire health, education, personal development, overcoming poverty, female empowerment, and security.
Even the smallest donation would help us in bringing hope and light to these families. We ask that you help us in achieving this goal.
