Hi

I'm Joanne, Carrie's Aunty.

Carrie has just been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive gallbladder cancer.

She is just 43 years old and lives with her partner Phil and their 13 year old Daughter Lola. They have always worked so hard to provide for their family. Phil works on the ambulances and Carrie works in Community Care and formerly at Hospice care at home and Macclesfield Hospital.

As we all know, the pay for people in these jobs is not the greatest in the world and sadly there is nothing left over at the end of the month for life's little luxuries. Not to mention a holiday for the family.

Given the challenges that the family face over the next year, and Carrie's prognosis, I want to try and raise some money so they can do some things together as a family and create some lasting memories. Hopefully we can even get them a little holiday together.

I know they both have many friends and colleagues and I'm sure lots of people will want to do something to help.

Any donation will be appreciated so much and will help move us towards our goal.
