Help Carolyn Meier Return to her Roots

My name is Marian. A group of Carolyn's childhood friends and I want to help Carolyn resettle in Illinois among the folks with whom she grew up. While we've always tried to offer emotional support, having Hallie and her close will make it easier to help physically, whether for medical appointments or help with moving, shopping, short trips and more. While she will miss her friends in Texas who have kept her buoyed for so long, she's ready to return to her roots. We've started this fund to make the transition to Illinois less stressful. Carolyn has acquired a position at a Lutheran school in our area and plans to arrive in July and begin work in August. She will need a few months to find medical and dental care, transfer prescriptions, get her rent and utilities lined up, recover from moving costs and all the other incidentals that come with relocating a family. We would also like to help financially to get her off to a good start, but we cannot do it alone. We hope you will consider giving to our friend who I'm sure you know to be a sweet, kind, loving soul who has had more than her fair share of obstacles to overcome. Let's not make moving back home an obstacle, but instead a blessed welcome.
