Carolines memories fundraiser

Earlier this year, my little sister Caroline got some truly heartbreaking news. At just 35, she was hit with a stage 4 glioblastoma diagnosis—a massive, nasty brain tumour, one of the worst kinds you can imagine. The tumour’s tricky location meant that surgery wasn't an option, but Caroline's not the type to back down from a fight. She plunged headfirst into some intense radiotherapy, heading to the clinic every day for weeks, showing the world her incredible strength.

Then came a glimmer of hope when Caroline joined a trial for a new drug. We held our breath as she went through a battery of scans and tests, but unfortunately the scans revealed that the tumour was growing, relentless as ever. The doctors, faced with a heart-wrenching decision, had to stop the treatment. There's nothing more they can do to shrink that stubborn tumour. Caroline's prognosis? Well, it's just six months.

But Caroline's got her priorities straight. She's all about making the most of the time she has left and creating some fantastic memories, especially for her little guy, Luca, who's just six years old and looks up to his mum like she's the sun.

Our family's rallying around her, and we've got some pretty awesome plans in the works. Next month, we're taking a trip to Disneyland Paris, and we're hoping to sprinkle some magic dust into Luca's life and bring some radiant smiles to Caroline's face.

As we navigate this emotional rollercoaster, our one big wish is to make every moment they share together as magical and heartwarming as possible. We're all in this together, determined to surround Caroline and Luca with love, support, and unforgettable experiences during this tough stretch of their journey.
