Caroline Grace is a 3 year old who has been fighting cancer for over 2 years. She was diagnosed at 13 months with Rhabdomyosarcoma. We then embarked on the scariest journey of our lives. She went through 40 weeks of chemotherapy and 26 radiation treatments. We were so relieved she was finally in remission and thriving. Unfortunately we only seen remission for 3 short months. The cancer returned and spread from just her face into her face and neck. We then started her second battle. She went through the strongest chemotherapy on the market, surgeries to remove both the tumor in her face and all the lymph nodes and glands in her neck and 23 more radiation treatments. Finally it all ended and we were in remission once again. On March 30th our world changed forever. We always knew it was a possibility but nothing could prepare us to here the word “terminal.” She has entered her last battle with this horrific disease. After years of chemotherapy radiation, and surgeries it has been determined we’re out of treatment options. And all though the past few years felt impossible to get through we’re thankful for everyday God has given us and continues to give us with her, we cherish every memory made with her. Watching her grow, watching her play with her brothers, and watching her turn into the most fantastic person we’ll ever know is our greatest privilege as her parents!
