Carole lived with that kind of mustard seed faith; what she called, Big Girl Faith, and 5 years ago, we first launched her vision with joy, hope, and community.
Now, we are relaunching Carole’s Faith Legacy Foundation to carry that same spirit forward in even bigger ways.
Why This Matters
My mom, Carole, started what would become Carole’s Faith Legacy Foundation. Her faith, love, and generosity touched everyone around her especially those fighting breast cancer. Watching her battle, I saw firsthand how much survivors, thrivers, and caregivers struggle with the everyday challenges that come with treatment, meals, bills, transportation, and even small moments of self-care.
But I also witnessed the incredible power of small acts of kindness. One meal, a gas card, a thoughtful gift. These simple gestures lifted her spirits and reminded her she was never alone. Now, I’m carrying her vision forward with our first campaign: Buy a Blessing.
What is Buy a Blessing?
It’s simple: You give. We bless.
Every donation goes directly to survivors, thrivers, and caregivers, providing:
- Groceries or meal deliveries
- Help with bills or gas cards
- Comfort items & self-care kits
- Spa days or joyful surprises
- Transportation support for treatment
Each blessing is a tangible reminder that joy, care, and faith can coexist even in the hardest seasons.
Our First Goal
This campaign is ongoing, because the need never stops. Our first milestone is to raise $10,000 by the end of this year to provide at least 100 blessings. Every $100 donated funds a direct blessing to someone who truly needs it.

The Legacy We’re Building
Carole’s Faith Legacy Foundation is more than a campaign — it’s a movement of faith in action, community, and love. We are carrying forward Carole’s spirit in ways that reach far beyond a single moment of giving:
- Buy a Blessing – Ongoing support for survivors, thrivers, and caregivers with groceries, bills, transportation, comfort, and care.
- Big Girl Faith Annual Awards Dinner (2026) – An elegant evening honoring survivors, caregivers, advocates, and those courageously battling cancer, while raising vital funds for our programs.
- Scholarship Program – Supporting African American students affected by breast cancer or pursuing studies in fields like electrical engineering, turning personal trials into pathways of opportunity.
- Cheer Program – Ambushing recent patients or those finishing treatment with surprise celebrations, gifts, balloons, and financial support to remind them they are never alone.
This is the legacy we are building: a foundation of mustard seed faith, fueled by Big Girl Faith, where small acts of love grow into waves of hope.
