Carol Corley Hudson family tragedy

on Monday evening, May 25, 2020, Carol Corley Hudson’s son Adam, his wife Melanie, and their 2 boys, Cameron (9) and Jaelen (4) attended a bbq at a relatives home that they are frequent visitors of. Once they arrived, the boys went to play with their family. From what we understand at this time, Jae entered a bedroom that had an unsecured firearm. There are no additional details at this time regarding the incident, but somehow Jaelen was shot in the stomach. Adam, as an Army veteran, is familiar with the sound of gunshots and he ran towards the noise. He picked Jae up and ran to the car to take him to the hospital where tragically Jae succumbed to his wound. Our goal with this gofundme is to help Carol and Ryan, (her other son), get from Denver to San Antonio to be with their family. We hope that we can help shelter some of costs of this unexpected and horrible tragedy. Thank you.
