Suddenly Widowed Carmen Alegret de Vincent Alegret

Hello, my name is Annette Alegret, and my father passed away suddenly on Saturday, 5/21 in the wee hours of the morning in Puerto Rico, where my parents had retired.  My mom had called the paramedics, because my dad could not get up from a seated position and my mom was not strong enough.  My dad said he was having a hard time getting air.    So they sent a 100 lb soaking wet girl and a pregnant girl as their paramedics.  The paramedics came without oxygen and just watched as he grasped his last breaths of air and my my urged them for help.  Anyone who knew my dad, loved him.  He was such a great man, dad and role model.  My mom, Carmen Alegret, his wife of 47 years, has discovered that she has been left with a large, unanticipated amount of debt that she cannot possibly pay off and no life insurance.  Some of you have asked how you can help...Both my dad and mom are proud people and wouldn't like to ask for help, but in lieu of flowers and casseroles, perhaps you would consider donating what you can, as she is on a fixed income and I am concerned that this debt will be too much for her.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.
