On Thursday June 10, 2021, my whole world was turned upside down. My boyfriend and father of my children, Carlos Fernandez-Maldonado, Jr. (31) was killed instantly just before 8AM when the semi he was driving veered off the interstate into the wood line. In addition to myself, Carlos left behind two children, 6 year old Daisy and 16 month old Brody. Daisy is on the autism spectrum and her daily therapies throughout each week consume all of my days, leaving little to no time for me to hold a job. Right now, the financial burden we are facing is too much for me to do alone. I know so many people are struggling right now but if you can spare anything, even the smallest donation would be greatly appreciated.
