Carl Travers Memorial Fund

This is a memorial fund for our friend and comrade, Carl Travers, who was taken from us tragically yesterday in a car accident. Carl was 55. This fund is designated to benefit his wife Guadalupe Travers.

Sometimes people come into our lives that change its trajectory forever and touch us in ways that we don't realize until only after they passed out of our lives. Carl Travers was that sort of person to me.

Carl was a man of action and passion. Those who worked with him found him infuriating to work around, yet he was one of the most capable people I ever knew, always looking for opportunities to learn new things. Carl could be harsh and rough but was equally ready to show care and compassion. He made friends everywhere he went. He was always there when you needed him. Always accessable and never distant. Always with a smile, always ready to forgive and forget.

Carl loved life and brought a fuller life to all those he came in contact with. I am better for having known him. His passing leaves a giant hole in his family, friends and colleagues lives. He will be sorely missed.

If you can, we are trying to raise funds to care for Lupe, help her with Carl's end of life expenses and aiding her to begin rebuilding her life without him. Any help is greatly appreciated.

These funds will be collected by Choice Bagging Equipment and dispersed to Lupe once the gofundme is complete.
