Carjacking Leaves Husband and Father in the ICU

The donations will be used to repair/replace the car, Ubers for our children to get back and forth to school while the car is being repaired/replaced, medical bills and to move to a place where we can all be safe. This man who carjacked my husband has keys to everything that we own and we are all afraid to stay at our home because of that. Our children are afraid to go downstairs much less outside because they are afraid he will be out there waiting.

My husband dropped me off at work Tuesday morning on 12/26 and arrived back home. He was attacked, carjacked and shot while our 4 young children, who were home for Christmas break, watched from the window. My husband was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He is currently in the ICU after the first 2 of 4 surgeries. They were able to stop the bleeding and repair the broken leg. He still has to get a rod put in his leg and his pelvis reconstructed. The car was found abandoned without the keys and two windows shot out. K-9 was used to try to located the suspect but they have not been successful. We would like to move into a new place while he is recovering and attempt to pay off some of the growing hospital and home bills. With the suspect still out there knowing where we stay with house keys and car keys, we do not feel safe staying where we are now.
