Carisk's 5th Annual Hope for the Holidays Campaign!

Following our tremendous success raising over $10,000 last year with our Hope for the Holidays campaign, we are excited to support four very worthy organizations in our Florida and New Jersey communities this year.

This holiday season, 100% of your tax-deductible donations will equally benefit the following local agencies, each providing much-needed services, support, healing and hope to men, women and children who really need our help.

Jersey Battered Womens Services  (JBWS) - Morris County, NJ

 
JBWS is a private, nonprofit agency that provides safety, support and solutions for abuse for anyone who lives or works in primarily Morris County, NJ and faces the issues of intimate partner abuse.

Their mission is the prevention of domestic violence through the protection and empowerment of the victim, the rehabilitation of family members, the advocacy for social reform to prevent partner violence, and the education of the public about domestic violence and its consequences.

Interfaith Food Pantry  - Morris County, NJ


The Interfaith Food Pantry and Resource Center is a community of “neighbors helping neighbors” committed to ending hunger and supporting self-sufficiency. Through their community partners, they provide nutritious food, education and resources to inspire confidence and hope to Morris County families in need.

Through food pantry and resource center programs, holiday food baskets, mobile outreach programs, nutrition education, advocacy, volunteering and even a Children's Teaching Garden, Interfaith's efforts in 2020 delivered over 1 million pounds of food to thousands of people in their community. As you might imagine, this year, their services and community support are even more needed.

Our Children Our Future - Hollywood, FL


Our Children Our Future offers emotional health care services for children and families in South Florida. This includes treatment for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and they offer after-school programs as well.  Our Children Our Future's programs help improve childrens' self-confidence and grades, increase positive attitudes toward school and prosocial behaviors, improve attendance rates, increase rates of high school graduation and decrease rates of teen pregnancy and criminal behavior.

Love and Hope in Action - Stuart, FL


At Love and Hope in Action, thier mission is to reduce hunger and mitigate serious health and safety risks for adults and families who are homeless and/or indigent living in Martin County, Florida. They offer a comprehensive array of programs and services to meet their basic needs and assist them with a plan to reach self-sufficiency.

Last year, Love and Hope in Action served 36,673 meals, provided 3,577 showers for those experiencing housing insecurity, and helped with 733 loads of laundry. In 2020, they served over 1,000 clients, of which 606 were men, women and chidren in the community benefitting from their services for the first time.
