Caring for Momma

Hello friends. My name is Amy. I am a single mother of three. I am also a daughter, sister, cousin and Auntie all because of one remarkable woman…. My mother, Sue West.

I have started this GoFundMe as a means to provide essentials my kids and I will need during this time as I help care for my mom, who needs 24/7 attention.

I don’t know how long it will take for her to recover from this sharp decline, but we are all hoping it happens, and sooner than later.

The funds will be used for paying bills, travel expenses (as I reside in Montana and Momma is in New Mexico), food, gas, and any shelter costs. I work for the school district as a paraprofessional in the special education department, but do not have enough time-off accrued to allow traveling to and from both places.

My Mom cared for me and my brothers as a single mother, she gave many kids and teenagers shelter and support at her dance studios over the decades. She created beautiful works of art in our communities, and never lost her joy for life and love. She deserves all the care that can be given.
