My name is Gordon Berry. My story begins last Halloween early morning (October 2024). My big brother, Greg Berry, got up early and was heading back to Washington for a funeral. Little did we know, that morning would change many lives forever. Shortly after the trip started, my brother was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on the interstate. One of the vehicles involved was an 18 wheeler which made the consequences more severe. Unfortunately, my brother’s injuries were very severe and life-threatening. He was able to survive his injuries, but at a very high cost. My brother is now a quadriplegic, he cannot move his arms or hands, or his legs or toes. Nothing from the neck down. Since the accident, my brother has either been in a hospital or a high level, skilled nursing facility. He has been told that he would never leave one of these facilities. After 10 months in facilities, the cost of my brother’s care has taken the toll on his family. They are running out of money. I have been trying to come up with something that I could do to help my brother out and this was given as maybe a possible tool that could be used to help his growing financial responsibilities. Any amount would help, and our family would be very grateful and appreciative. All funds collected will be used for my brother’s care only. Thank you for your time and consideration.
