The COVID-19 crisis has brought on a complex range of factors like self-isolation, uncertainty, and stress. This has taken a toll on the mental health of children and adolescents. Bellevue hospital, located in New York City, has continued to support children who struggle with mental illness. Most of these patients come from the most underserved neighborhoods in the city.
In response to this, I have decided to start an initiative called Caring Delivered. With the money raised, we will make gift bags that include cozy blankets, stress balls, fuzzy socks, and other items to provide comfort.
