Stop for a moment and imagine not knowing where your next meal will come from, having no access to clean drinking water, or growing up without the support and care every child deserves. Hi, my name is Umar, I am 16 years old, and I am raising awareness for a charity project in Uganda that is working to transform lives. The charity is providing food and support for orphaned children, building mosques that serve as centres of faith and community, and constructing water wells to give families access to clean and safe drinking water.
Living in England, I am fortunate to have opportunities and comforts that many people can only dream of. Meanwhile, thousands of children and families in Uganda continue to struggle with poverty, hunger, and a lack of basic necessities. Seeing this reality has inspired me to do everything I can to help. Although I am only 16, I believe that age should never be a barrier to making a difference. Every donation, no matter how small, can help provide food for an orphan, clean water for a village, and hope for families facing daily challenges. Together, we can help change lives and create a brighter future for those who need it most.
