Care packages for ST families ❤️

This is something nice for the 23 STS families - please let this be a surprise to cheer them up! If you share on your personal FB, please try to avoid sharing w 23 STS spouses.

We will close this gofundme on Monday, April 13 to work on getting something together for the families by Friday, April 17.

You may know some of our deployed members are being affected by the stop movement and their families are waiting patiently for them to return home. I’m sure we can all agree that would be a bummer of a situation to be in, and right now it is pretty uncertain. Knowing you put your deployment time in (at home), supported the greater cause, and patiently waited for your spouse to get home so you can hand the kid over or just get some QT in....being days away, and then being told, oh wait — everyone stay where you are...and btw, homeschool your kids and don't leave your house either! We thought it was a good idea to put together some care packages for the families patiently awaiting their loved ones' return (not for the deployed), just to hopefully cheer them up a bit. We dont know how many there are yet, but thinking about 35-50 families, so any donation will help! The packages will include things like Starbucks gift cards, chocolate, candles, face masks for home use, things like that! Then maybe sidewalk chalk, bubbles, fun things for kiddos.
