Care Packages for Healthcare Heroes

Not all heroes wear capes, many wear scrubs!

Due to Covid-19, many hospitals are becoming overwhelmed and experiencing shortages of essential personal protective equipment, meant to keep our health providers safe. Regardless, doctors, PAs, nurses, and many others part of the critical healthcare provider team remain working tirelessly at the front lines, to treat those most vulnerable to the virus. Let’s rally behind our healthcare providers and let them know we appreciate all they do to keep the members of our community healthy and safe!


Because Doctors, Nurses, PAs, and many others of the healthcare team are working long, difficult shifts, we’ve assembled a care package filled with items meant to provide energy, pain relief, and inspiration!


Along with basic hygienic necessities, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, chapstick, and comb, our healthcare heroes will receive items such as:

-Granola bars
-Energy bars
-Dark chocolate
-An assortment of herbal teas
-1 pack of mint gum
-1 O’keeffe’s working hands cream
-1 handwritten note of hope and appreciation!


Each package is approximately $20 and with your help, we hope to donate a total of 100 care packages to our local MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and UCI Medical Center. Furthermore, If you know a healthcare worker and would like to make a directed donation, please contact us at [email redacted]  and I’d be more than happy to ensure they receive a care package!
