Care Package Project for the Homeless (2022)

In 2018, I started the Care Package Project in hopes of showing a small act of kindness toward those experiencing homelessness during the holiday season. This time of year can be especially challenging as the weather becomes colder and many individuals do not have access to essential items. Over the years, we’ve raised $5400, making the hand-delivery of 165 care packages possible. I hope to continue carrying out this meaningful project by working together to make someone’s day a little brighter.

Care packages will contain winter essentials, including thick socks and gloves. They will have various hygiene products, including wet wipes, bandages, menstrual pads, chapsticks, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Snacks and other miscellaneous items, such as a hand-written note and coffee shop gift card will also be included.

I have made this GoFundMe page to invite anyone who would like to support the cause by making a monetary donation and/or sharing the project with friends and family. Donations will be accepted until Dec 26th, 2022 and all proceeds will go toward the Care Package Project. Thank you so much for your support and kindness.
