South Africa’s most vulnerable, the poor, are in desperate need of protection as the country locks down to help stop the spread of COVID 19.  A virus like this could ravage my home country and the continent of Africa. I’ve teamed up with  Colour Plus, a small local business in Cape Town,  who will manufacture and distribute masks to townships,  the elderly and children in need and I’m personally committing  to 100,000 masks myself.  It costs 50 cents USD to make one mask.  This initiative will not only help keep a small factory going, it will most importantly, save lives.  I’m aware so many are in need right now.  I appreciate whatever you are able to donate and even if you can only share this link, I sincerely appreciate it.  If this virus has shown us anything, it’s that we are all connected and that we must come together as a global community.
