Hi, I’m Shana—and I believe no elder should ever feel forgotten.

After 15+ years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I’ve seen the quiet loneliness that too many seniors experience, especially those in nursing homes without regular visitors. I created Shana CARES Marketplace to change that—one smile, one visit, one act of dignity at a time.

Today, I’m raising funds to grow our two community outreach programs:

Snack & Smile and Adopt-A-Resident

What We’re Doing

Snack & Smile

-We deliver care packages filled with snacks, hygiene items, socks, activity books, and handwritten notes to seniors who rarely receive visitors.

Each kit costs about $10 and brings real joy to someone who needs it.

Adopt-A-Resident

-This long-term program pairs isolated seniors with local sponsors who send monthly check-ins, small gifts, and emotional support.

$25/month supports one resident—and helps restore their sense of dignity and connection

Every dollar raised goes directly into care kits, delivery supplies, and community visits. We are local, hands-on, and mission-driven.
